Starting on my leather coronet

I've been a Court Baron now for almost exactly 4 years, since Avelyn and I stepped down as B&B of the Althing in November 2021. So I should probably get around to actually having some sort of coronet to wear.

As an interim measure, I've decided to figure out how to make a leather coronet.

My goal is to have a simple prototype ready for when we got to our first Feast of the Hare since we stepped down, later this month.

Using the maths and the geometries, I traced out a pattern so that I have the six points equally spaced out around my head measurement. Once I made sure it actually worked, I copied it onto the leather, cut it ourt and burnished all my edges.

Next up, I took my handy dandy groover tool and marked out the separater between the silver body and the gold "piping" along the edges (in Ealdormere, former Territorials can have gold coronets but I feel like that makes it hard to distinguish us from current Territorials, so I thought the gold edge on silver might work better).

Today I picked up the gold and silver leather paint in the city, so later this week I'll get started on the white base layer and then get her all shiny. :)

Pictures to follow once the project is done.
